Aviation Fuel Supply Kazakhstan

JP54, Jet A-1 and TS-1 Kerosene from Kazakhstan's Refineries

Kazakhstan is a significant producer of aviation-grade kerosene. The country’s three major refineries — Atyrau, Pavlodar and Shymkent — all produce aviation turbine fuel as part of their standard product slate following Euro-5 upgrade programmes completed between 2018 and 2019. The domestic market runs primarily on TS-1 (also marketed internationally as JP54), defined under GOST 10227 and the standard fuel for CIS-built aircraft since the Soviet era.

LLP Kamenistoe-Neft supplies aviation kerosene to airfields, airport fuelling operators, aviation logistics providers and fuel traders across Kazakhstan and the broader Central Asian and CIS region. We supply both TS-1/JP54 to GOST 10227 and Jet A-1 to DEF STAN 91-091 for buyers requiring internationally-certified fuel. All aviation fuel is accompanied by a Certificate of Quality from the producing refinery, with third-party inspection from SGS, Intertek or Bureau Veritas available on request.

TS-1/JP54 specifications: Flash point minimum 28°C; freeze point maximum −50°C; density 0.775–0.840 g/cm³ at 20°C. Accepted by all CIS-registered aircraft and Kazakhstan’s domestic carriers. Jet A-1 specifications: Flash point minimum 38°C; freeze point maximum −47°C; JFTOT minimum 260°C. Required for Western-registered aircraft transiting Kazakhstan and for any export to non-CIS airports.

We supply to operators at Almaty (ALA), Astana (NQZ) and Aktau (SCO) airports and to regional airfields via road tanker. Cross-border supply to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan is available by rail and road with full customs documentation.
